Gap has added another member to its diverse family of collaborations. From Dôen and Cult Gaia to its Mickey- and Minnie-clad Disney collection, the brand’s sweeping partnership lineup now includes The Muppets. The seven-piece capsule contains two crewneck pullovers and five graphic tees in unisex sizing.
Each piece in the Gap x Muppets product line has a central character portrait with Gap’s iconic logo in the bottom corner. The graphic is printed on either a soft cotton jersey t-shirt or heavyweight French terry sweatshirt, the former retailing for $48 and the latter for $68. Both have a relaxed, oversized fit. Fabric colors include white, black, pale heather gray and off white.

Featured puppets are Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and Animal. First created by puppeteer and animator Jim Henson in 1955, The Muppets media franchise was acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 2004.
Other Gap new arrivals of note include eight Star Wars graphic tees and fresh Gap × Disney hoodies and baggy sweatpants, all of which are part of Gap’s sitewide sale (the new Muppets collab is excluded).
Beyond Gap, popular children’s programming and media franchises are seeing a surge in partnerships with big name fashion brands. Most recently, Sesame Street teamed with Reebok, Disney’s Mickey & Friends co-created a capsule with Aéropostale and Puma dropped a new assortment of Hello Kitty sneakers and clothing for both adults and kids.
