Peggy Fleming, Nancy Kerrigan, Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano and Nathan Chen are among the Olympic medallists appearing at the event, which takes place Sunday, March 2 from Capital One Arena in Washington.

Legacy on Ice will feature current and former U.S. figure skating stars performing special routines in tribute to the skaters, coaches and family members who died in the plane crash over the Potomac River last month. The accident happened after a U.S. military helicopter struck an American Airlines jet midair, killing all 67 people aboard both aircraft.
In addition to the Olympic medalists mentioned above, the show will feature the current U.S. women’s champion Amber Glenn; men’s champ, Ilia Malinin; ice dance champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates; and 2025 U.S. pairs champions Misha Mitrofanov and Alisa Efimova, who train at The Skating Club of Boston, which lost six members in the crash.
“Through the artistry of figure skating and the power of music, we honor those lost the first responders, and all who were impacted,” reads a description for Legacy on Ice. “This event traces the triumphs and heartbreaks of U.S. figure skating, connecting past and present to celebrate a sport and a community that has overcome adversity before and stands together once again.”
