Wondery Partners With Sean Hayes’ Dreambo for New Game Launch

Dreambo, a new gaming company from actor, producer, and comedian Sean Hayes, alongside Carrie Aizley, Robin Ruzan, Scott Icenogle, and Kevin Neustadt, is teaming up with premium podcast studio and network Wondery to launch its first title.

With this new venture, the game maker will tap into Wondery’s expertise in brand development as it builds a presence in the marketplace, beginning with the release of the fast-paced QU!CK QU!CK QU!CK this summer at retailers. Produced by Relatable, the company behind the What Do You Meme? card game, QU!CK QU!CK QU!CK was inspired by the Dreambo founders’ own game nights.

“After years of playing QU!CK QU!CK QU!CK with our family and friends, we knew it was cruel to keep this kind of fun to ourselves…we had to share it with the world!” said Dreambos founders in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working with the IP experts at Wondery and the games experts at Relatable to get this into the hands of game fans everywhere.”

Dreambo was created by friends and gamers Emmy and Tony-winning Hayes, actress-writer Aizley (Best in Show, For Your Consideration), writer-producer Ruzan (Better Things, Saturday Night Live), ASCAP-winning composer and music producer Icenogle, and Neustadt, president and CEO of Rainier Financial Group.

The group’s long-standing enthusiasm for games spans everything from board to card to party titles, and their larger work with Dreambo will focus on creating a range of memorable gaming experiences that are driven by connection, that not only entertain, but spark joy, laughter. Dreambo’s mission, according to the company, will be to bring people closer, one laugh at a time through game night classics.

“At Wondery, we are passionate about fostering great creative ideas and are excited to partner with the comedic masterminds at Dreambo to bring their original games to market,” said Nicole Blake, Chief Brand Officer at Wondery. “Dreambo’s games will bring people together through laughter and creativity. We can’t wait for players ages eight to 108 to see for themselves that QU!CK, QU!CK, QU!CK, is truly the fastest way to have fun!”

Hollywood is full of gamers, from Henry Cavill and Brie Larson to Aisha Tyler and even Hayes’ SmartLess co-hosts Jason Bateman and Will Arnett. But much of the known endearment to the medium has been focused on video games, as well as table top with fans like Freddie Prinze Jr. and Joe Manganiello. Dreambo’s entry into the board, card and party titles puts those celebrity gamers within the product development process.

Among Dreambo’s team, Hayes’ affection for gaming is the most prominent, with the actor featuring on the quick-hit brainteaser game show ClueLess, hosted by Elliott Kalan and from SmartLess Media, and producing NBC’s Hollywood Game Night, hosted by Jane Lynch.
